MeroCoffee™ experience starts in the hilly regions of Nepal, where organic 100% Arabica Coffee is cultivated by farmers as part of a broader Income Generation Programme.

Here, under the roof of the world, we use the Italian expertise to transform high quality beans in Coffee, then in dreams.

In a region where dire poverty hinders any agricultural diversification, where local Coffee market is driven by synthetic powder products we value the work of exceptional people and with them we build business opportunities where everyone else only sees difficulty.

With our passion for high quality and excellence we carefully select 100% organic Arabica beans and bring them to Italy to be skilfully roasted and air-cooled.

However, inflexibility about quality is for us not sufficient. MeroCoffee™ has to be a fair trade high quality product. People have to earn a competitive salary, working conditions have to be safe, environment has to be respected and the local community has to be empowered. 

Working in partnership with a major local NGO (HELP/Nepal), we give them at least 51% of our MeroCoffee™'s net profit for social programmes. Through coffee production the local community will not only be healthier and empowered, but will receive schools, education, healthcare support, awareness programmes and vocational trainings.

Our packages comes with fair-trade certification and a brochure explaining which kind of programmes a significant part of the revenue will support.

Excellency and fairness are tied more than ever once a year: it is when we personally meet the producers and the local communities with HELP/Nepal, who helps them grow.
